Stadium Lifestyle.
The stadium itself has many things to do other than just watch the games. Once the gates are open it turns intoa family fun environment that not only can you bring your work colleagues to a game but also your family. The event marketing group sets up different games to play and multiple activities for the fans throughout the game. When the Clippers are away from home the stadium is usually still not empty and not making money. Throughout the summer the Ron Goldman camp comes into to the stadium in the early parts of the day and they train throughout the clippers facilities and get a feel of what is like to train like a professional athlete. The clippers also do something called Dinner on the Diamond where most corporate sponsors get to come and pay to have dinner on the field enjoys some music as well. The clippers will also do small events with companies around the city to where they come into the stadium and are allowed to take batting practice on the field for a few hours as well as being fed at the stadium. This year the organization tried to take on a new role as in bringing in lower ranked ammeter UFC and Boxing individuals to have fights in the stadium. Throughout the year the Clippers also like to take a moment and recognize youth baseball organizations around the Columbus areas by letting eh youngsters walk on the field before the game and also selecting a few of the kids to throw out the first pitch. Then later in the year the Clippers put on a kids camp that allows them to workout and get drills from the Clippers themselves. The last thing that the Clippers host on an annual basis is the Fantasy Camp. The fantasy camp allows older individuals to come in and work with former professional baseball players and get the treatment of professional baseball player throughout the week. All of these events not only bring in extra revenue for the organization but it allows the Clippers to get the community involved which is why the ballpark has won ballpark of the year multiple times since it has opened.
